Privacy Policy

Last Updated: June 15, 2026
Effective: June 15, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Intuitique LLC ("Fate," "we," "us," or "our"), a Wyoming limited liability company with its registered office at 1309 Coffeen Avenue STE 17670, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States of America, collects, uses, shares, and protects personal data about users of the Fate astrology and relationship service at getfate.app (the "Service").

For users in the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area, Intuitique LLC is the data controller of your personal data. For users in California and other US states with comprehensive privacy laws, we are the business with respect to your personal information.

Capitalised terms not defined here have the meaning given in our Terms & Conditions.

1. Scope

This Policy applies to personal data we collect through the Service. It does not apply to third-party websites, services, or platforms linked from the Service — those are governed by their own privacy policies.

2. Personal Data We Collect

We collect personal data in three broad ways.

Information you provide to us. When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, password (which we store hashed), and date of birth. To deliver the Service, we also ask you to provide information needed for astrological and relationship features, including your birth time, birth location, gender (where you choose to share it), relationship preferences, and similar profile inputs. Where you use compatibility, synastry, or relationship features, you may also provide a partner's or other person's birth details. When you use the Karmic Clearing release ritual, the words you type are shown back to you within the experience and are not saved to your account or retained by us after the ritual ends. If you purchase a 30-Day Clearing Path, the intention you choose for it (such as love, abundance, peace, or a fresh start) is stored so we can deliver the correct path to you. You may submit photos, personal questions, and other content you choose to share. When you purchase a subscription or add-on, our payment processor (Stripe) collects your payment card or other payment details; we do not store your full payment card number and receive only a token and limited transaction data needed to manage your subscription. When you contact us by email, chat, or support ticket, we collect the contents of that communication.

Information we collect automatically. When you use the Service, we automatically collect your IP address, device identifiers, browser type and version, operating system, referring URLs, pages viewed, features used, approximate location derived from your IP address, and similar usage and diagnostic data. We use cookies and similar technologies as described in our Cookie Policy.

Information from third parties. If you sign in via Google, Apple, Facebook, or another social-login provider, we receive limited profile information (typically name, email, and a unique identifier) in accordance with your privacy settings with that provider. We also receive information about your interactions with our advertisements and referring sources from advertising and measurement partners.

2A. Sensitive Information

We do not ask you to provide special category or sensitive personal data, and we have designed the Karmic Clearing release ritual so that the free text you write there is not stored. If you voluntarily include sensitive details in free-text fields elsewhere (for example, in a support message or a personal question), we process that information only to respond to you or provide the feature you have requested, and you can ask us to delete it as described in Section 7. We do not use sensitive information for advertising.

3. How We Use Personal Data

We use your personal data to create and manage your account, deliver the Service to you (including generating horoscopes, birth-chart analyses, compatibility reports, karmic-pattern reports, Clearing Path content, and other astrological and relationship content), process payments and manage your subscription, provide customer support, send service-related emails (receipts, account notices, terms updates), send marketing emails about Fate where permitted, personalise content and recommendations, conduct analytics and product improvement, prevent fraud and abuse, secure our systems, comply with our legal obligations, and defend or establish legal claims.

For users in the UK and EEA, the lawful bases for this processing under the UK GDPR / EU GDPR are: performance of our contract with you (for account creation, Service delivery, payment processing, support, and service-related communications); your consent (for marketing emails where required, and for cookie- and advertising-related processing as described in our Cookie Policy); our legitimate interests (for personalisation, analytics, product improvement, fraud prevention, security, and defending claims, balanced against your rights and freedoms); and legal obligation (for tax, accounting, regulatory, and law-enforcement compliance).

You may withdraw consent for any consent-based processing at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal. See Section 7 for how to exercise your rights.

4. How We Share Personal Data

We share personal data only where necessary and under appropriate contractual safeguards, with the following categories of recipients.

We share data with service providers acting on our behalf under processor or equivalent agreements: our database, authentication, and storage provider (Supabase), our payment processor (Stripe), our email and messaging provider (Customer.io), our advertising and measurement partner (Meta), and our server-side tag-management provider (Stape). The specific provider, the data each receives, where it processes that data, and the transfer safeguard relied on are set out in Section 4A.

We share data with professional advisers (lawyers, accountants, auditors) under duties of confidentiality, and with law enforcement, regulators, and government authorities where required by law or where we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.

If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, personal data may be transferred to the successor in interest, with notice to you and continued protection of your data.

We also share data with your consent in other circumstances we describe to you at the time.

We do not sell your personal data for money. Our advertising and measurement activity through Meta (including the Meta Pixel and the Conversions API, routed via Stape's server-side container) may qualify as "sale" or "sharing for cross-context behavioural advertising" under California law and equivalent terms under other US state privacy laws. You can opt out using the methods described in Section 7.

4A. Our Sub-Processors and Data Flows

The third parties that process personal data on our behalf are set out below.

  • Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage. Receives and stores account, profile, and birth details, purchase records, the chosen intention for any Clearing Path, and any photos or other content you submit. Processes in the EEA (West EU, Dublin, Ireland). No transfer outside the EEA is involved at the storage layer; transfers from the UK to the EEA are covered by the UK's adequacy regulations. Where our US-based staff access this data remotely, Standard Contractual Clauses apply.
  • Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing. Receives payment and transaction details. Processes primarily in the United States and globally. Transfer safeguard: Standard Contractual Clauses.
  • Customer.io — transactional and marketing email and messaging. Receives your name, email, and event and segmentation attributes. Processes in the United States. Transfer safeguard for UK/EEA users: Standard Contractual Clauses (and the UK Addendum).
  • Meta (Meta Pixel and Conversions API) — advertising delivery, measurement, and conversion tracking. Receives event data and identifiers, which for the Conversions API may include hashed email, IP address, and event parameters. Processes primarily in the United States. Transfer safeguard: Standard Contractual Clauses.
  • Stape — server-side tag management (server-side Google Tag Manager hosting). Receives client and event data and forwards server-side events to Meta. May receive identifiers, IP address, and event parameters, including hashed data used for advertising matching. Processes in the United States (US West, Oregon). Transfer safeguard for UK/EEA users: Standard Contractual Clauses (and the UK Addendum).

No per-user reading, report, or image is generated at runtime by a third-party AI or image provider. The content delivered through the Service is pre-authored or templated, so no AI provider receives your personal data.

5. International Transfers

Intuitique LLC is established in the United States, and our service providers may be located in the United States and other countries. Where we transfer personal data from the UK or EEA to a country that has not been recognised as providing an adequate level of data protection, we use appropriate safeguards, including the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum where applicable, together with supplementary measures as required. The specific transfer mechanism relied on for each provider is identified in Section 4A. A copy of the relevant transfer mechanism is available on request to contact@getfate.app.

6. Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes set out in this Policy. We retain your account data for the duration of your account, plus a reasonable period after account closure for legal, accounting, and dispute-resolution purposes (typically up to six years). We retain transaction and billing records for the period required by tax and accounting law (typically six to ten years). We retain support communications for up to three years from last contact. We retain marketing data until you withdraw consent or unsubscribe, plus a suppression record to prevent further contact. The free text you write in the Karmic Clearing release ritual is processed only within your session to display your reflection back to you and is not stored. Backups are retained on a rolling basis and overwritten on a defined cycle. When personal data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

7. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you have rights in relation to your personal data. We will respond to verifiable requests within the time required by applicable law (generally one month under UK/EU GDPR and 45 days under most US state laws).

All users. You may request access to the personal data we hold about you, correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data, and deletion of your personal data subject to legal exceptions. You may object to or restrict certain processing, request data portability in a structured, machine-readable format, and withdraw consent for any consent-based processing. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails via the link in any marketing message. To exercise your rights, email contact@getfate.app from the address associated with your account. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

UK and EEA users. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. In the UK this is the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk); in Ireland, the Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie); a list of EEA authorities is available at edpb.europa.eu.

California users (CCPA / CPRA). You have the right to know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected, the sources, the purposes, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it; to delete personal information subject to exceptions; to correct inaccurate personal information; to opt out of "sale" or "sharing" for cross-context behavioural advertising (you can opt out by emailing contact@getfate.app, and we honour the Global Privacy Control browser signal); and to non-discrimination for exercising your rights. You may use an authorised agent to submit requests on your behalf; we will require proof of authorisation and verification of your identity.

For California disclosure purposes, in the past twelve months we have collected the following categories of personal information: identifiers (name, email, IP address, account ID); customer records; characteristics of protected classifications (date of birth, and gender where provided); commercial or transactions information (subscription and purchase records); internet or other network activity (usage data, interactions with the Service, emails, and advertisements); approximate geolocation data (derived from IP); and inferences drawn from the foregoing. We have disclosed these categories to service providers for business purposes as described in Sections 4 and 4A. We have shared identifiers, internet or network activity, and approximate geolocation data with Meta for cross-context behavioural advertising purposes; this activity may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" under California law, and you may opt out as described above.

Other US state residents. Residents of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws have analogous rights (access, deletion, correction, portability, opt-out of targeted advertising and sale). Use the same contact methods above to exercise them.

Australian users. Under the Australian Privacy Principles, you may request access to and correction of personal information we hold about you, and you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au) if you believe we have breached the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

8. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies as described in our Cookie Policy. On first visit, our consent banner allows you to accept or reject non-essential cookies and to manage your preferences. You can change your preferences at any time via the cookie settings link in the Service footer.

9. Advertising and Measurement

We use Meta (the Meta Pixel and the Conversions API) to deliver and measure advertising about Fate and to understand how people arrive at and use the Service. Browser and server-side events are routed through a server-side container we host with Stape. These tools may use cookies, identifiers, and event data, including hashed data used for advertising matching, to measure and target advertising across Meta's platforms. We do not currently use a separate third-party product-analytics tool; if we add one (for example, Google Analytics), we will update this Policy and our Cookie Policy.

You can opt out of personalised advertising via the cookie banner or preference centre on our Service, the Global Privacy Control browser signal, industry opt-out tools at youradchoices.com, optout.aboutads.info, and optout.networkadvertising.org, and device-level controls in your browser or operating system.

10. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data from unauthorised access, loss, alteration, or disclosure. These include encryption in transit, access controls, logging, regular security reviews, and contractual safeguards with service providers. No system is perfectly secure; if we become aware of a personal data breach that is likely to result in a risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify you and the relevant authority as required by law.

11. Children

The Service is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact contact@getfate.app and we will take steps to delete the information.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top reflects the most recent version. For material changes, we will provide reasonable advance notice (for example, by email or in-product notice). Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
